WCSSG/CBC joint workshop: NDA Strategy II Consultation
The above (public) workshop is being jointly hosted by the West Cumbria Sites Stakeholder Group (WCSSG) and Copeland Borough Council.
The workshop will provide attendees with an opportunity to explore the range and scope of topics and issues contained within the NDA Strategy II Consultation exercise with NDA representatives.
The focus and aim for WCSSG and CBC is to seek views from both members and the general public in order to shape and inform responses to the Strategy II consultation.
The workshop will be held in Cleator Moor Civic Hall on the 26th of October, starting at 13.00 and finishing no later than 16.30.
The purpose of this short note is to invite you along to the workshop and to assist us on the day in identifying the issues we need to address in our responses.
As I’m sure you are aware, West Cumbria’s future is closely linked with the nuclear industry and therefore has a considerable stake in the NDA’s strategy. It is extremely important, therefore, that we take every opportunity to influence their thinking. With that in mind, we hope you can find time to come along and contribute on the day.
If you would like to attend the workshop I would be grateful if you could reply to Rosina.m.robinson@sellafieldsites.com or telephone number 019467 85802.
