Consultation on Managing Radioactive Waste Safely - REMINDER
A reminder about the ongoing consultation on Managing Radioactive Waste Safely, deadline 23 March
Community drop-in events
There are four remaining community drop-in events which are due to take place this week:
Tuesday 7th February Dock Museum Barrow
Wednesday 8th February Market Hall Wigton
Thursday 9th February Market Hall Egremont
Friday 10th February Kirkgate Centre Cockermouth
All events will run from 1pm to 7pm, with discussion sessions at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm for those who are interested. Please call in for a few minutes to have a look at the information displays, or stay as long as you like to take part in a discussion session, talk to Partnership members, specialists from the Government (the Department of Energy and Climate Change), the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and the regulators, and an independent geology expert.
