West Cumbria Managing Radioactive Waste Safely Partnership Opinion Survey
The West Cumbria Managing Radioactive Waste Safely Partnership has published 2 documents relating to its planned opinion survey which will be carried out by Ipsos MORI before the Partnership reports to the councils in the summer.
These are:
Document no. 247 – Briefing note on the Partnership’s opinion survey.
Document no. 251 – A copy of the draft content of the planned opinion survey, for public comment.
The survey is essential to understanding public views on MRWS in a statistically representative way. The Partnership is therefore taking the unusual step of publishing the draft questionnaire for public comment over the next 2 weeks. Following the close of the comment period the Partnership will produce a summary response document. Details of how to comment are available in Document 251.
The deadline for comments is midday on 20th February 2012.
