Energy Choices 2007
WCSSG Chairman David Moore was invited by the Nuclear Industry Association to present at
the Energy Choices 2007 conference in London on 6th December.
The key end of year conference for the UK nuclear industry was dedicated to analysis and
debate surrounding public opinion of the industry and is looking at how the nuclear industry
communicates with its local communities, the media and other key stakeholders.
Davids presentation focused on how communications with the nuclear industry particularly
Sellafield, has evolved over the years from being on a need-to-know basis in the 50s and 60s
into the more open and transparent communications of today.
Davids presentation was well received and provoked a lot of discussion outside of the
meeting.
