Consultations
An objective of the WCSSG is to provide an opportunity for engagement to all members of the community both local and national on issues which may be of concern.
If you or a member of your organisation would be interested in being consulted on nuclear issues, have a specific request or enquiry regarding our consultations please make sure that you are able to take part by contacting us by email. Consultations are only successful when there are adequate numbers of interested people to consult, so why not register to receive consultation documents by email by registering for our updates.
UK strategy for solid low level radioactive wastes
The NDA has launched a consultation on the proposed UK strategy for solid low level radioactive wastes arising from the nuclear industry. It commenced on Friday June 5th and will end on September 11th 2009.
There are a number of ways you can give your views.

You’ll find a link to the LLW consultation on their home page.
There you will find the Consultation Document for the UK Nuclear Industry LLW Strategy and the underpinning Strategic Environment Assessment documentation.

Whichever way you choose to tell them what you think, all comments will be welcome and be considered. Following the consultation, the NDA will provide a written summary of how they have responded to your comments. The consultation documents request that you provide the NDA with your permission to publish comments.
